The Gull Lake Invitational has always been a quality meet against quality teams. This year was no different as their were 13 total schools ranging from Division 1 (7), Division 2 (3) , Division 3 (2), and Division 4 (1).

Starting out of the meet we were able to secure points in all 5 field events. The leader in the field events was Hadley Miller who left as the Gull Lake Invitational Champion in the High Jump with a jump of 5′ 1″. Also scoring in the field events were Illy Taylor (7th Place in Shot Put, 4th Place in Discus), Alexandria Deel (4th Place in Pole Vault), Alivia Knapp (6th Place in Long Jump). When you start the meet and secure points early on it help to get the rest of the team excited and ready to run their events. The girls competing in the field events were able to start strong and helped us build up some confidence before taking the track.

When the running events started we were again able to continue to produce points with quality performances. Freshman Stephanie Pontious stepped up with an 8th place finish in the 200m Dash and also was a key leg in the 4×100 Relay (5th Place) and 4×200 Relay (3rd Place). Sophomore Madison Bowers was also able to secure points for the team with a 6th place finish in the 100m dash and a 6th place finish in the 400m Dash while also running a leg in the 4×100 Relay (5th Place) and the 4×400 Relay.  Freshman Emma Stasiuk ran a leg of the 4×800 (8th place) to secure points for the team and also competed very well against quality distance talent to turn in a 12th place finish in the 3200 and a 13th place finish in the 1600.
