Football finished the regular season with a 27-6 win over Allegan tonight at Armstrong Field. The Cats would take a 13-0 halftime lead on a first quarter 12 yard touchdown run by Landon McKenzie and a second quarter blocked punt return for a score by Addison Abnet. The big play came on the opening kickoff of the second half when Makhi Wilson returned the kick 81 yards and a 20-0 lead. After Allegan would score off a blocked punt early in the fourth quarter, the Cats would end the scoring on a Gavin Beuter 6 yard run.
Three Rivers finished with 236 yards (223 rushing) of offense, Allegan 154. Ethan Crooks rushed 9 times for 68 yards, Drew Brown carried twice for 36 yards. Dominick Homan had 8 tackles, Isaiah Moore had 7 tackles, and Luke Stasiuk added 6 tackles leading the defense.
