Basketball: Gull Lake games cancelled

Basketball games today (Tuesday, Jan. 15) vs. Gull Lake have been cancelled due to the weather in the Richland area. This impacts girls games at Gull Lake and boys games at Three Rivers at all levels. The Varsity games with Gull Lake have been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 11 @ Three Rivers Varsity Girls 5:30

Boys Soccer: Veenstra signs with Beloit (WI) College

Derek Veenstra has signed with Beloit (WI) College and will join the Buccaneers soccer program next fall where he will major in Biology.  The Buccaneers are members of the Midwest Conference at the NCAA Division III level.  Veenstra was a 1st Team Wolverine All-Conference selection the past two seasons.

Competitive Cheer: Cats 3rd at Gull Lake Invite

Wrestling: Cats host Super Duals

Wrestling hosted the 2019 TR Super Duals today going 1-4. The Cats fell to Constantine (48-30), Coldwater (57-18), Hart (63-18) and Lawton (42-36) before defeating Brandywine (42-33). Mike Draper (189), Zach Foreman (215), Brian York (160) and Lucas Jenkins (112) each went 4-1 on the day leading the Cats. Wrestling Next Action: Wednesday, Jan. 16

Boys Basketball: Sturgis 70 Three Rivers 63

Boys Basketball fell at Sturgis tonight 70-63 in Wolverine Conference action. The game was tied 35-35 at halftime. (Jr./G) Parker Ellifritz and (Sr./F) Bryce Morlan led the Cats with 14 points each while (Sr./F) Brendan Brown added 11 points. (Sr./G) Jalen Heivilin had 9 points with 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Girls Basketball defeated Sturgis tonight 68-37 for a conference road win.
