Soccer: Summer Youth Camp set for July 8-10

The 2019 Wildcats Youth Soccer Summer Camp has been set for July 8, 9, and 10 at the Wildcats Varsity Soccer Field from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm for students K-8 next year.  Wildcats Head Soccer Coach Travis Shubnell will lead the three day camp. Boys Soccer: Bonnema II signs with Spring Arbor

Wildcat (Sr.) Jayson Bonnema II has signed with Spring Arbor University and will join the Cougars Mens Soccer program next year.  Bonnema II was a midfielder for the Cats and will be majoring in Computer Science at SAU.

Boys Soccer: Veenstra signs with Beloit (WI) College

Derek Veenstra has signed with Beloit (WI) College and will join the Buccaneers soccer program next fall where he will major in Biology.  The Buccaneers are members of the Midwest Conference at the NCAA Division III level.  Veenstra was a 1st Team Wolverine All-Conference selection the past two seasons.

Boys Soccer: Veenstra & Foura named All-Conference

The Wolverine Conference has named the 2018 Boys Soccer All-Conference teams with the Wildcats having two players earning honors. (Sr.) Derek Veenstra was named 1st Team All-Conference and (Sr.) Dan Foura was Honorable Mention All-Conference.

Boys Soccer District: Cats season ends with 5-0 loss at St. Joseph

Boys Soccer saw the 2018 season come to a close tonight with a 5-0 loss at St. Joseph in the opening round of the MHSAA Boys Soccer District. Noah Humbert made 15 saves in goal. “The team played their hearts out (down 1-0 at half),” –Head Coach Travis Shubnell

Boys Soccer defeated Vicksburg tonight 6-1 at home. Kayden Salinas and Anthony Salinas each scored three goals to lead the Cats.
