Football: Morlan named Honorable Mention All-State Punter

(Sr.) Bryce Morlan was named Honorable Mention All-State Punter for Division III & IV. Morlan’s highlight this past season was setting a new Wolverine Conference record for longest punt with a 78 yarder vs. Paw Paw on 9/21/18 (video below). The previous record was 75 yards.

Football finished the regular season 8-1 (2nd Wolverine Conference) with a 37-7 Seniors Night win over Vicksburg tonight at Armstrong Field. Football improved to 7-1 on the season with a Wolverine Conference 70-0 win tonight at Allegan. In the first half, Jalen Heivilin threw five touchdown passes, Bryce Morlan (12 yards), Jett Haifley (18 yards), Nolan Mark (3 yards), Morlan (4 yards), and Haifley (39 yards). 2018 Three Rivers Wildcats Football Playoff T-Shirts and Hoodies pre-sale orders are taking place starting tomorrow (Oct. 11) in the High School Athletic Office until Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Noon.
