Wrestling: Cats 7th at Marcellus Tournament

Wrestling finished 7th in the team standings today at the Marcellus Tournament.  Leading the Cats were: Brandt Lafferty (3rd – 125), Jacob Ballard (4th – 285), Javier Kelley-Martinez (4th -140) and Ashton Coon (4th – 103). Wrestling: Cats host TR Super Duals

With a roster that features no seniors and only one junior, many with the Wrestling program today got to taste the competition of the eight team Three Rivers Super Duals for the first time.  The Cats went 0-4 on the day falling to Lawton (60-18), Brandywine (42-36), Portage Northern (48-36) and Kalamazoo Central (53-18). Wrestling: Allendale Individual Tournament

Wrestling traveled to Allendale today for the Falcon Individual Tournament.  The Cats did not have any wrestlers place, earning wins throughout were Ashton Coon (103), Brandt Lafferty (125), Jason Smith (130), Javier Kelley-Martinez (140), Charles Allen (152) and Lloyd Ruesink (171). Wrestling: Cats 6th at Hart Invitational

Wrestling traveled north this weekend for the Hart Invitational, finishing 6th with 76.5 team points.  Ashton Coon led the Cats with a 2nd place finish at 103.  Four Cats finished 4th overall: Brandt Lafferty (125), Javier Kelley-Martinez (140), Jason Pollard (171) and Jacob Ballard (285). Wrestling: Cats open conference with two setbacks

Wrestling traveled to Paw Paw tonight for a Wolverine Conference Double Dual vs. the host Redskins and South Haven.  The Cats fell in the opener to South Haven 64-16 before falling to Paw Paw 53-30.  (Fr.) Wrestling: Cats 3-2 at Vicksburg Invitational

Wrestling went 3-2 today at the Vicksburg Invitational with wins over Climax-Scotts/Martin 36-30, Decatur 42-36, and Cassopolis 48-11.  The Cats fell to Niles Brandywine 66-18 and Lakewood 60-20.  Adam Saddler (130) and Gage Davis (112) led the Cats both going 5-0. High School Winter Sports: Tryouts announced

The 2019-20 High School Winter Sports season opens with Girls Basketball and Competitive Cheer starting Nov. 11.  Bowling, Boys Basketball, and Wrestling start on Nov. 18.
