Football: Cats end season with wild win at Allegan

Football defeated Allegan tonight 42-38 in Wolverine Conference action at Tiger Stadium, finishing the regular season 3-6. The Cats built a 14-0 lead in the first quarter on two Parker Ellifritz touchdowns (Punt return 56 yards, 4 yard run) and would take a 21-16 lead to half on a Scott Schrader 8 yard touchdown reception

Football: Cats fall to Plainwell

Football fell 42-20 tonight to Plainwell at Armstrong Field.  Devon Gidley scored on runs of 6 and 1 yards and Scott Schrader caught a 49 yard pass from Gidley for the Wildcats scores.  Plainwell had 476 yards of offense and the Cats had 323. Football fell in Wolverine Conference action 50-7 tonight to Edwardsburg at Armstrong Field.  The Cats got on the board in the 3rd quarter on a 1 yard quarterback keeper by Devon Gidley with the Brayden Selent extra point.  Jeremy Andrews led the Cats with 36 yards rushing on 11 attempts and Chase Ludwig rushed 31

Football: Three Rivers 28 South Haven 6

Football earned a 28-6 Wolverine Conference win tonight at South Haven.  The Cats scored touchdowns in each quarter starting with a Parker Ellifritz five yard run on the Cats opening series. After South Haven cut the lead to 7-6, Devon Gidley connected with Scott Schrader for a 35 yard touchdown pass and a 14-6 halftime

Football: Vicksburg 49 Three Rivers 42

Football fell in a wild one Saturday at Armstrong Field, 49-42 to Vicksburg.  Devon Gidley was 19-30 for 346 yards and six touchdown passes leading the Cats.  Vicksburg had 470 total yards offense to the Wildcats 440.  Jeremy Andrews caught three touchdowns with 71 yards receiving, Carter Minger (3 rec. 63 yards) caught two touchdowns

Football picked up a Wolverine Conference win tonight at Sturgis 21-6.  The Cats opened the game with a 79 yard kickoff return by Parker Ellifritz for a 7-0 lead.  Late in the 2nd quarter the Cats extended the lead to 14-0 on a Devon Gidley one yard quarterback sneak. Football fell 21-14 to Otsego tonight in Wolverine Conference action at Armstrong Field. Otsego outgained the Cats 286-175 yards.  Parker Ellifritz scored on a nine yard run and a two yard run for the Cats both scores, Brayden Selent added both extra points. Football fell 35-0 tonight at Dowagiac in Wolverine Conference action.  The Chieftains held the advantage in total offense 426-150 yards.  Parker Ellifritz led the Cats with 82 yards rushing.  Carter Minger led the Cats with 30 yards receiving and on defense with 7.5 tackles.
