Softball: Heivilin signs with Alabama

Kali Heivilin, the Wildcats shortstop, and three sport (Volleyball, Basketball, Softball), four year varsity standout, signed a national letter of intent today to play for the Southeastern Conference’s Alabama Crimson Tide. THE HEIVILIN FILE: *verbally committed to Alabama on October 14 last year. *recruited by 15 Division One Softball programs. Also was recruited in Volleyball.

Softball: Cats earn Team Academic All-State honors

Congratulations to the 2020 Varsity Softball team which has been named Team Academic All-State honors by the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association. Congratulations Cats!

Softball: Four Cats earn Academic All-State Honors

The Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association has honored four Wildcat seniors with Academic All-State honors: Lizzie Bissett, Karalyn Eldridge, Kylee Nash, and Emma Thatcher.  Congratulations to Lizzie, Karalyn, Kylee, and Emma on outstanding four year careers on and off the diamond!

Volleyball/Softball: Bissett signs with Albion

Wildcat two-sport student-athlete Lizzie Bissett has signed with Albion College where she will join the Volleyball and Softball teams starting next fall.  The Britons are a Division III program and member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA).  Bissett a standout in the classroom with a 4.217 GPA is getting ready for her final season

Softball: Eldridge signs with Lake Michigan College

(Sr./2B) Karalyn Eldridge signed a letter of intent today to play softball for Lake Michigan College.  Eldridge will join the Red Hawks program next year which is a member of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association and will be playing her fourth year of varsity softball next spring for the Cats, she also plays volleyball.

Softball: Nash signs with Tulsa University

(Sr./P) Kylee Nash signed a letter of intent tonight to play softball for the University of Tulsa, Nash the three-sport athlete will join the Division I program next fall which is a member of the American Athletic Conference.  Nash a First Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-State starting pitcher as a Sophomore will return this spring

Softball: Heivilin breaks MHSAA Record

(Jr./SS) Kali Heivilin was honored tonight for setting a new MHSAA State Record in Softball last spring for runs scored in a season, 88 in 38 games during her sophomore season.  The previous record was 86 runs in 39 games set in 2015.  Congratulations to Kali!  MHSAA Softball Individual/Team Records – click here.
