Competitive Cheer: Cats Score Season High at Hastings Invite

Competitive Cheer was in Hastings tonight for an Invitational.  The Cats open Round One with a score of 185.9, Round Two 165.7, Round Three 257.9 for a season high total of 609.5. Competitive Cheer Next Action: Tuesday, March 2 @ Sturgis Conference Jamboree #3 6:00 pm

Girls Basketball: Cats hang on at Paw Paw

Girls Basketball hung on for a 46-38 win tonight at Paw Paw.  Alivia Knapp led the Cats with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals. Kali Heivilin had 14 points & 8 rebounds and Macy Ivins added 8 points.  The Cats got solid minutes tonight from Zoe McGlothlen, Rylie Glass, and Emma Stasiuk. Girls Basketball

Boys Basketball: Cats knock off Paw Paw

Boys Basketball improved to 5-2 (5-1 conference) on the season with a 59-51 win over Paw Paw tonight at the Purple Palace.  Isaiah Moore led the Cats with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists.  Angelo Hausmanis had a season high 14 points, Andrew Brown added 10 points and Aidan Judsen 7 points. Competitive Cheer traveled to Vicksburg today for Conference Jamboree #2 finishing 7th.  The Cats open with a Round One score of 177.0, Round Two 147.1, and Round Three 218.8 for a total of 542.9. Competitive Cheer Next Action: Friday, Feb. 26 @ Hastings Invitational 6:00 pm

Wrestling: Cats 2-1 at Quad

Wrestling hosted a Quad tonight which included conference matches with Allegan & Dowagiac and a non-conference match against Athens.  The Cats fell in the opener to Dowagiac 47-27 before defeating Athens 78-0 and Allegan 54-24.  Cats going 3-0 tonight: (189) Marco Hernandez, (160) Azariah Price, (152) Adam Saddler, (135) Javier Kelley-Martinez, and (125) Brandt Lafferty. 

Girls Basketball: Cats fall at Vicksburg

Girls Basketball saw an 11 point halftime lead disappear in a 49-44 loss at Vicksburg.  Alivia Knapp led the Cats with 12 points, Kali Heivilin had 10 points with 12 rebounds, and Macy Ivins added 9 points. Girls Basketball Next Action: Wednesday, Feb. 24 @ Paw Paw 7:15 pm

Boys Basketball: Cats over Vicksburg

Boys Basketball defeated Vicksburg tonight 56-35 at the Purple Palace.  The Cats improve to 4-2 on the season.  Andrew Brown led the Cats with 22 points, Isaiah Moore had 8 points with 14 rebounds, while Aidan Judsen & Gavin Beuter each had 6 points.  Nine different Wildcats scored in the game.
