Wildcat Softball hosted Plainwell in a conference doubleheader in Three Rivers: GAME 1: Three Rivers 10, Plainwell 0 (F/5) The Cats scored six times in the first inning for the win in the opener. Ashlynn Barnes (3B, 2 RBI), Dani Glass (2 RBI), and London Hoffmaster (3B, 2 RBI) each homered and had two hits. Gia Newburry had two doubles, Elizabeth Oestrike, Samantha Roggelien, and Mia Thomas (2 SB, 2 RBI) each had a hit. Ellie Ruesink (2 IP, 5 SO) and Newburry (3 IP, 5 SO) combined to allow one hit. GAME 2: Three Rivers 12, Plainwell 0 (F/5) The Cats scored three times in the first & third innings for the win. London Hoffmaster (2 2B, 4 RBI), Ashlynn Barnes (2 RBI), Gia Newburry (2B), and Madison Carr (3 RBI) each had two hits. Berkeley Hoercher, Dani Glass (2 BB), Autumn Schroeder, and Emmy Quake (2B, RBI) each added a hit. Quake pitched five innings, allowing one hit and striking out 13.
