Softball traveled to Wayland for a tournament today: GAME 1: Three Rivers 12, Jenison 0 (F/5) Gia Newburry (2 IP) and Ellie Ruesink (3 IP) combined to allow three hits in the shutout of Jenison. Dani Glass (2B), London Hoffmaster (3B, 3 RBI), Ashlynn Barnes (2 RBI), Emmy Quake (2B, 3B), and Autumn Schroeder (2 RBI) each had two hits. Elizabeth Quake and Newburry (2B) added a hit. GAME 2: Three Rivers 11, Wayland 10 The Cats scored six times in the top of the seventh to rally for the championship over the host school. Ashlynn Barnes had four hits (2 RBI) and London Hoffmaster (2B) had three hits. Dani Glass (2B, 3 RBI), Gia Newburry (2 RBI), and Madison Carr each had two hits. Elizabeth Oestrike, Emmy Quake, Ellie Ruesink, Mia Thomas, and Autumn Schroeder each had a hit. Three Rivers moves to 15-4 on the season.
