Softball was in Mattawan tonight for a non-conference doubleheader: GAME 1: Mattawan 10, Three Rivers 9 The Cats fell behind 7-0 before rallying and tying the game at nine in the top of the seventh before Mattawan scored a run in the bottom of the inning for the win. London Hoffmaster had four hits (2 HR, 3B, 3 RBI), Madison Carr (HR, 3B) had three hits, Gia Newburry (HR, 2B) & Autumn Schroeder each had two hits. Ashlynn Barnes (2B) and Mia Thomas each had a hit. GAME 2: Three Rivers 11, Mattawan 1 The Cats scored eight times in the second inning to roll in game two. Ashlynn Barnes had four hits (2B, 4 RBI). Gia Newburry (2 2B) had three hits, Dani Glass, Mia Thomas, Berkeley Hoercher, Madison Carr each had two hits. Elizabeth Oestrike had a triple (2 RBI).
