Softball hosted Vicksburg in a conference doubleheader tonight: GAME 1: Vicksburg 8, Three Rivers 5 Vicksburg built a 6-0 lead before the Cats got within 6-5 after four in the setback. Mia Thomas (2B) had three hits, Dani Glass & Madison Carr both had two hits, and Elizabeth Oestrike, London Hoffmaster (2B), Ashlynn Barnes, and Autumn Schroeder (HR) had hits. Gia Newburry in relief, pitched six innings allowing three earned runs. GAME 2: Vicksburg 10, Three Rivers 1 Vicksburg scored nine times in the first two innings to pull away in game two. London Hoffmaster had three hits, Mia Thomas and Autumn Schroeder (HR) each had two hits. Ashlynn Barnes & Dani Glass added hits. Three Rivers is 21-10 overall, 10-3 in conference.
