Wildcat Softball was in Niles today for the MHSAA Division II District: DISTRICT SEMIFINAL: Three Rivers 2, Edwardsburg 0 Freshman Gia Newburry threw a complete game on 73 pitches (57 strikes) allowing three hits and striking out six to lead the Cats over the Eddies. The Cats scored both runs in the top of the seventh as Elizabeth Oestrike drove in Emmy Quake and Dani Glass drove in Oestrike with base hits. Oestrike finished with two hits, Autumn Schroeder, London Hoffmaster, Ashlynn Barnes, Mia Thomas, Emmy Quake, and Madison Carr added hits. DISTRICT FINAL: Dowagiac 5, Three Rivers 0 Autumn Schroeder & London Hoffmaster had the Cats two hits as the season ended in the District Finals. Emmy Quake pitched 2.1 scoreless innings in relief. Three Rivers finishes the season 27-11 overall.
