Baseball hosted the MHSAA Division II Districts today at Armstrong Field: DISTRICT SEMIFINAL: Three Rivers 12, Edwardsburg 10 (F/8) This game had just about everything. The Eddies behind a grand slam scored five times in the bottom of the first before the Cats answered with six runs in the top of the second. The Cats fell behind 10-8 in the bottom of the sixth before scoring twice in the top of the seventh and eight for a thrilling semifinal win. Aidan Williams (2B, 2 RBI) & Brady Penny (2B, 3 RBI) both had three hits. Tyson Rohrer, Mason Awe, Gabe Young, and Drake Dibble added hits. Williams pitched a scoreless seventh and eight innings for the win. DISTRICT FINAL: Vicksburg 7, Three Rivers 2 The Cats were held to one hit (Gabe Young) as the season came to a close in the District Finals. Mason Awe & Drake Dibble drove in the Cats runs. Three Rivers ends the season 24-10-1.
