(Jr.) Elizabeth Oestrike has been named a Division III All-State Honorable Mention golfer for the 2026 high school girls golf season by the Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association. The prestigious All-State distinction recognizes the top high school golfers across the state based on scoring average, tournament performance, and overall impact on the course. Elizabeth’s selection caps off an extraordinary season defined by relentless consistency, steady scoring growth, and exceptional mental toughness in high-pressure competition. Throughout the season, Elizabeth consistently delivered key performances when it mattered most, helping lead Three Rivers through a competitive schedule against many of the state’s top programs. "Earned is truly the best word to describe this honor for Elizabeth," said Mark Zeimet, Head Golf Coach at Three Rivers High School. "Golf is a sport that tests your patience and mental resolve every single round. Elizabeth’s growth over the past year—both in technical skill and course management—has been remarkable. Whether bouncing back from a tough hole or grinding out a round in difficult conditions, her mental toughness and steady approach set a standard for our entire team." Beyond the fairways, Elizabeth exemplifies the true definition of a student-athlete. She maintains an impressive 4.08 weighted GPA, balancing an intensive training and competition schedule with rigorous academic course loads. In addition to academic and athletic excellence, Elizabeth is deeply committed to giving back to the local community. She actively volunteers with Three Rivers youth golf, the plant club, and the Lion's Club devoting time to mentoring young athletes and supporting community initiatives.
