Football moved to 2-0 on the season with a 21-17 win over Dowagiac tonight at Armstrong Field. Brayden Carpenter return an interception 39 yards for the Cats first score, after a Chieftains field goal, Blake Stewart returned the kickoff 84 yards for a 14-3 lead. In the third quarter, Ethan Moreland scored on a 42 yard run moving the lead to 21-3. The Cats held on as Dowagiac scored twice in the fourth quarter.
