Cross Country: Boys & Girls defeat Vicksburg

The Wildcat Cross Country teams hosted Vicksburg tonight in Wolverine Conference action at Meyer Broadway Park. Boys Cross Country defeated Vicksburg by a score of 28-29. The Cats are now 4-1 and in second place in the conference. Three Rivers was led by Charlie Brauer with a time of 16:54 (MB Park PR) followed by Reece Howes (4th) 17:45 (MB Park PR), Jonah Zietlow (6th) 17:47, Trey Hall (7th) 18:41 (MB Park PR), Tony Hilton (9th) 18:58 (MB Park PR), David Kore (10th) 19:14, and Max Wolgast (11th) 19:14 (MB Park PR). Also Setting lifetime person records tonight at Meyer Broadway Park were: Troyer Serna: 19:27, Eli Harris: 19:34, JT Wilds 20:01, Connor Bleything: 20:17, Adrian Perez: 21:24, Isaac Bell: 21:37, Cooper Goff: 21:58, Bryce Cole: 22:02, Xander Hallock: 22:28, Aidan Martin: 22:39, Mason Wolfe: 24:02, Noah Ranson: 24:03, and Caden Talsma: 29:16. Girls Cross Country defeated Vicksburg by a score of 23-32 notching their first conference win of the season with a 1-4 record. Leading the Cats with a first place finish overall running a time of 21:35 (MB Park PR) was Lillie Kerr followed by Brynn Copenhaver (3rd) 23:13, Gabby Kilbourn (4th) 23:15 (MB Park PR), Yarely Lopez Chacon (7th) 24:50 (MB Park PR), Rylea Summey (8th) 25:05 (MB Park PR), Lizzy Kangas (13th) 28:20 (MB Park PR), and Emma Sealy (14th) 28:31 (MB Park PR).
