The Wildcat Cross Country teams were in Paw Paw tonight for the Conference Finals: BOYS: The Cats finished behind Otsego and 2nd in the Final Wolverine Conference standings. Three Cats finished in the Top 16 and earned All-Conference honors led by Charlie Brauer (16:42) with a 6th place finish followed by Jonah Zietlow (17:04) with a 9th place finish and Reece Howes (17:09) 11th place. Rounding out the Top 7 were: Trey Hall: (19th) 17:46, David Kore: (25th) 18:13, Dontrel Taylor: (29th) 18:39, and Elijah Harris: (45th) 19:39. They also passed out top 10 medals in the JV boys race and we had 6 boys earn medals in that race taking 6 of the top 7 spots: Max Wolgast (1st) 18:51, Tony Hilton (2nd) 18:51, Troyer Serna (3rd) 19:00, Adrian Perez (4th) 19:30, Connor Bleything (6th) 19:38, and Larry Watson (7th) 19:38. Head Coach, Jason Muckel was named Wolverine Conference Coach of the Year for Boys Cross Country. GIRLS: The Cats finished 7th overall. Lillie Kerr (21:17) finished in 15th place and Brynn Copenhaver (16th) finished in 16th place earning All-Conference honors. Rounding out the Top 7 for the Casts were: Gabby Kilbourn (28th) 23:11, Yarely Lopez Chacon (40th) 24:36, Rylea Summey (46th) 25:35, Lizzy Kangas (48th) 26:30, and Stella Eachen (50th) 29:54.
